Some images captured of Perseids in 2004.

By Alex Pratt
A Mintron video camera with 12mm f/1.2 C-mount lens was used to capture this Perseid meteor during a video meteor watch on August 13/14. It appeared at 22:34:09 UT and the video shows the full trail of the meteor as it passed to the West of Delphinus. It is visible on 19 frames, which means that its duration was 19 x 0,04 sec = 0.76 sec.

By John Kemp A Perseid passing the Pleiades, 00.33UT 13th Aug 2004, Walmer beach, Kent.
Taken using an Olympus OM1N tracked on Super Polaris mount. 3 minute exposure on Kodak Elitechrome 200 uprated to 800 ISO, 50mm lens at f/2. Slide scanned to digitise.
