The Deep Sky Section returned to Northampton again in 2006 for the annual meeting which took place on March 4 at the Humfrey Rooms, Castilian Terrace.

Doors opened at 10am to allow people to set up displays, with the meeting starting at 11am. This year speakers included Guy Hurst "Open clusters"; Nick Hewitt "Globular clusters"; Martin Nicholson "Remote observing"; Owen Brazell and Karen Holland "Praesepe, two merging clusters?". This will be an update by Karen on the work she presented some years ago.
