Description: Montage of comet Lemmon
A montage of 14 x 30-sec images of Comet Lemmon taken on 2013 March 6. Comet altitude was about 20 deg. The images were taken with a 40cm SCT. There has been no attempt to perfect the tbrightness of the images in the transition regions. The large image scale allows much detail in the structure of the tail to be seen. The bright star 2/3 along the tail (epsilon Phoenix) has created some artefacts from internal reflections David Herald Australia
