Jupiter has been creating all sorts of news recently, mostly because of impact events and changes in planetary markings. This image was taken by Frédéric Géa with the one meter telescope at "Stellarzac" (location for renting telescopes for use under dark skies, see
http://www.stellarzac.com.) and was submitted by Marc Delcroix. Marc processed this red light image remotely.
