Graham reports that "this is another unfinished project! Data collected in one night. It clearly demands my first attempt at a mosaic but will have to wait for next winter.  A quick process in Pixinsight, post-processing just curves to enhance contrast and a touch of noise reduction."

The Rosette is much larger than the apparent size of the full moon and is 5,200 light years distant from us.
