Rosetta 67P observing campaign

As part of her PhD at the Open University, Helen Usher has asked if comet observers could fill in a short questionnaire which is related to the 67P amateur observing campaign. The aim of this campaign was to encourage amateurs across the world to submit observations of the comet, which could then be used to supplement professional observations.  Amateur data can add greater temporal sampling and wider fields of view.
The questionnaire seeks information on the effectiveness of the awareness raising methods used, and seeks views on how future observing campaigns could most effectively reach comet observers worldwide.
If you were involved in the campaign and gave permission Helen should have contacted you directly. If you weren’t then there is a questionnaire here which you can use. Helen is looking to get the views of those who didn’t sign up, but might be interested in doing so in future, so that we can most effectively design future campaigns.
