30+ degrees of Pre-Comet Orbital Trail of 10P/Tempel2 from July17-18 2026

Project Notes:

    Attempted a seven panel mosaic of comet 10P/Tempel2's orbital trail.

    Clouds rolled in on panel 4, which contained the comet, having to use poor subframes to complete the pre-comet orbital trail.

    Comet alignment with stars removed shows the exent of the trail.

    The post comet trail is nearly absent do to the failure of the night's capture.

    Each mosaic frame comprises a nearly 10 x 6.67 degree field.

    Minimal amount of image processing has been done.
