Project Notes:

    Always a novelty when a reasonably bright comet moves in position of a showcase DSO. But with 95% moonlight?

 

    With a backyard setup, I was able to block direct moonlight by hiding behind my house.

    Globular cluster Messier M30 appears lower right of the comet.

    Orbital Dust Trail continues to be despite the nearly full moon (in the comet's vicinity).

    Brownish-yellow dust tail appears as fan-shaped, 3 o'clock and above orbital tail as it was on July 27.

    Brightness measurement is mag 9.1 under heavy moonlight.
