Project Notes:
 

    As 10P/ Tempel slowly fades in brightness I imaged the comet for a little over three hours. 
    Low in my southern sky, the comet's max altitude was a shy under 20 degrees as it reached the meridian. 
    The green coma is nearly swamped the class A0 blue super giant, Gamma PsA as the two merged into a single glare.  
    The bright yellow-orange star, Delta PsA, forms the mouth of the southern fish as seen in the finderchart provided. 
    Quite a colorful grouping with the orbital trail of Tempel2 still faintly visible. 
    Upon close inspection a wisp of a tail rises up from the comet to the 10 o'clock position. 
    The comet’s brightness is measured at mag 10.5 
    Color calibration was performed with PixInsight's SpectrometricColorCalibration process using a white balance of the spectral class of our sun as reference.
