12P Pons-Brooks has a period of 72 years. He is a part of the Halley-type comet familiy. The next perihel passage is in april 2024. Last night i gave it a first try. With the 16"/3.2 and the QHY 600 I exposed for 14x2 minutes and captured the first signals of the comet. It is currently 21m4 bright and almost stellar.
