Comet 12P in the twilight from Pearly Beach on the 26 April 2024, at around 05:07 UT. Around 30 x 2 second light frames were used for the final images. Canon 200mm EF lens working at f2.8, on Canon 5D Mark lll. The comet is around magnitude +4.5 and currently in the constellation Taurus in the west, low above the horizon. Comet was visible in 12 x 50 binoculars as well as the live view of the camera, but not with the naked-eye. |
