Another nice night with comet 13P/ Olbers showing its latest plasma tail nuances. Gone are yesterday's "V" shaped plasma jets and far field disorganization (see https://astrob.in/mq1oj9/B/). This night's image shows a slight bowing upward, flowing ion rivers with a tail shorter in extent. The pale yellow dust tail contrasts the plasma tail well in this image due to the higher than normal level of color saturation (difficult to explain this saturation increase, as I had to temper this down in post processing. Perhaps the sky transparency played a part in its reveal). Once again the comet is quite easy to pickup in a pair of 18 x 50 binoculars. In fact the comet looked brighter and it's central concentration appeared at times nearly star like.
