1996 March 25. 0322-0334. 55mm f/1.2 Canon lens closed to f/2. The exposure is 12 minutes on Hydrogen hypered Tech Pan 2415 and the frame dimensions are 24°x30°. North is to the bottom left. The main disconnection event is clearly visible. The brightest stars are Alioth, Mizar and Alkaid in Ursa Major. During the exposure the comet moved by 6 arc minutes and the camera was guided on the motion of the bright central condensation. The photo was taken at an altitude of 1800m at Chipeque, Tenerife.
