November 22nd, I took the opportunity to photograph 19P / Borrelly - and again the dust trail that I discovered on November 1st is visible again. The thinner 1 ° long trail in PA 248 ° can be seen quite clearly. The one in PA 68 ° is thicker, but very weak. Another highlight are the galaxies in the field - NGC 7590, 7599, 7552, 7582. In the meantime, I've watched the trail on 5 different nights, and it always looks the same. The only thing that changes is the position angle of the trail. In yesterday's pictures, the thicker trail to the east - whoever was weaker than the other - lost even more of its brightness and was barely visible. |
