2013r3 20131022 peach

  
 
Here is an image obtained last night of P/2013 R3 (Catalina-Pan-STARRS) which was reported to be fragmenting in images obtained on Oct 11th by the 10.4m GTC telescope on La Palma. 
 
A faint diffuse dust tail can be see and what looks like a slightly brighter condensation near the nucleus. I have performed only minimal processing to minimize potential artefacts. 
17"CDK with FLI-PL6303E camera. 4x300secs unfiltered.
