This comet has just within the past week had a fairly major brightening; the comet is very large (about 183" arc across) with very faint ion tail in PA 54 deg, about 550" in length. It has brightened to magnitude 9.0 in the past couple of days (about 10.8 nuclear or m2 magnitude) and shows promise for further activity.
