Comet C/2013 X1 (PANSTARRS) @ August 26,2016

Comet C/2013 X1 (PANSTARRS) was visible with binoculars a few months ago. Imaged here on August 26 2016 when is definitively moving out from inside Solar System losing fast its brightness, in spite of which this image taken with a high sensibility remote equipment from Siding Spring Observatories complex in Australia, achieves to show its faint dust trail extending with 1 degree long (as two full moons) departing from its head green tinted due to emission of carbonic gas.

Aside from several tiny galaxies scattered by the field, at right bottom highlights the galaxy NGC 5556 type spiral barred that was discovered by John Herschel in 1834.
