Thankfully the snow blizzard waited one day and had the chance to observe the comet 4 hours before close approach through thin clouds and the nearby full Moon. The closest approach happen during morning daylight in Denver. The comet looked more like an asteroid than a comet. It appeared to reach magnitude 12.8 before it set over Denver Colorado when I took the last images. Cheers, |
