This is a crop from the original IMX455 frame which has also been binned by a factor of 2. It shows the faint ion tail stretching almost a degree to the east. It is a shame that the comet was in front of a bright bit of nebulosity so I'll try again when it is in some darker skies. This was using the ASA H8 f/2.9 astrograph with a FL of 592mm. |
