Comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) as imaged over an hour ago from Siding Spring (Q62). Despite the moonlight interference a large but very faint coma can be seen. Astrometry was off by almost 5' compared to the elements published in MPEC 2020-G05. Measured 16.4R for the nuclear magnitude m2. Comphot gave me 14.2 for the total magntiude m1, but that obviously wasn't a very reliable measurement. |
