The central condensation (surviving nucleus?) of C/2019 Y4 has continued to brighten rapidly over the past few days and should be monitored closely. My unfiltered R Mag measurements from May 5.12 - 9.12 show a steady increase from 14.7 to 13.2 for the inner 20" of coma. The images here document 4 nights of data, obtained by the 20" T11 Planewave scope at iTelescope's Mayhill, NM, facility. The field of view of each panel is 5x10'. |
