ion tail is longer than 15 degrees. The image was taken under dark but not perfect conditions in the evening. Three panels were exposed with 135mm. I was able to increase the exposure times to capture the weakest parts of the ion tail. Most of the stars and the gradients were removed as far as possible to better illustrate the situation. cs Michael Jäger |
