Closeup of Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF), The Arrow Points at Mars, 2023-02-10 Here is my souvenir of Mars and the Green Comet. Only 30 x 30 seconds out of 226 subs were good enough to be used for this stacked image. Although the comet was still estimated to be 10 arc minutes closer by the time of moonrise, the high clouds tend to over brighten Mars leaving most of my images unusable for stacking. ???????From my side of the Earth's viewpoint, this image centers on the moment where the nucleus of Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) is 1º 17' from Mars.
