C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) Sep 19.78, 2024. m1 = 3.8 estimated by comparison with Delta Sextans using the green channel of a 75 second exposure (stack of 30x2.5sec) and a 6' diameter measurement aperture in Maxim DL. Camera Sony A7iii and 135/1.8 lens. This morning, once located in 10x42 binoculars it is easy to see along with a broad tail 0.5 degree long. Smoke haze, low altitude, twilight and full moon prevent it from being prominent in the binoculars. Location Wellington Point, QLD, Australia.
