Racing the Moonlight, Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS Still Shines in Ophiuchus, November 07 2024UT Notes: 1. Went for a single panel covering around 2.5 degrees in length, fearing the waxing crescent would eliminate imaging a much larger mosaic. So much easier than a mosaic! 2. Reduced the exposure time by 15 seconds keeping the mean ADU to around 1100 or less. 3. Platesolving a single panel allows for an inverted annotated view. 4. The "ruddy" color has been calibrated using SPCC and I enjoyed a little freedom overindulging in color saturation. Why not it's pretty nifty. 5. Interesting jet-like features are present and a hint of green still persists in the front of the coma.
