Comet C/2024 G3 ATLAS + Galaxy NGC 55.
Image taken on 2025 February 19 at 10:40UT using a Canon 6D + Sigma 100mm f/2.8. cropped 14x30sec iso3200. FOV 10deg. North lower right. from Swan Hill, Victoria, Australia.
Tail length through 10x50mm binoculars was 2.5 degrees and of approximate magnitude 7. Photographically, the tail is at least 6 degrees long in PA89. NGC55 at top is located 10 degrees east of the comet.
