The rapid brightening of Comet C/2026 A1 (MAPS) from approximately mag 17 to 12 is clearly visible in this montage of 4 evenings (Jan 30,Feb 20, 24 a 27). All images have been linear stretched by an identical amount to allow direct comparison. Scale is also identical (10' x 10' for each image) and the Telescope is identical (25cm f3.8 corrected Newtonian at site X07 in Chile).
