C/2026 A1 (MAPS) : March 14.40 UT, 2026. Image acquired remotely using the 0.51m f6.8 Corrected Dall-Kirkham Astrograph at iTelescopes's Siding Spring facility, NSW, Australia. 4 x 180 sec green filtered and 3 x 180sec clear filtered exposures were stacked and the final image shown here is cropped to 15 x 15'. Using the green filter exposures the total magnitude was estimated as 10.2 with a coma of 6'. The ion tail as seen here extends in PA 95 degrees for perhaps 10' or even more.
