Over the past few days, we have observed that the comet’s center of mass has shifted slightly. Wolfgang Promper, from Tivoli, Namibia, was able to take 6 images with his 24"/f-4.5 telescope and CMOS. Measurements in Tycho Tracker show the brightest parts of the central condensation to be just under 2 arcseconds behind the front. We are currently unable to detect a second fragment.
