220p 20260625 1024 molason

The morning skies cleared quickly on June 25 and managed to get some images of 220P with a 91mm f/4.9 refractor. These images don't show any major fragmentation of 220P, appear to show a normal flow of material away from the central coma into the dust tail. The comet was magnitude 12.3 in a coma aperture 1.7' wide with a faint dust tail 22' long at a PA of 249 degrees.
 
 
 
One of the good things about this group is that if someone questions something unusual about a comet there are always others who take a look and provide some input with real data. Thanks to those who responded.
