Here’s an image of 29P taken last night (2015 May 18.58-64 UT).
 
Image details: 35cm f10 Meade ACF SCT, SBIG STL11000M CCD. 58 x 1 minute exposures taken through a Clear filter, 1x1 bin, –30*C.
 
In this image, the coma appears to be about 1.44’ in diameter. Using the small angle formula, this equates to about 323,338 km - of course, this is subject to the image – and my interpretation of it
