Possible fragmentation of 38P. We ask confirmation of this observation. Periodic comet 38/P Stephan-Oterma, observed on 2018 December 11.88UT, from Astronomical Park Lilio, Savelli, KR, Calabria, Italy, with telescoper RC 50cm and CCD FLI 1001, resolution 1.24 arcsec/pixel, exposure 80x60 sec, show a tipical beaviour of fragmentation. In the images processing with Larson-Sekanina filter and MCM filter, are visible 3 wings rispectively in PA~20 deg, PA~130 deg and PA~230 deg. |
