Image of Comet 88P/Howell taken May 18 (5:32 UT) by Las Cumbres Observatory facility at McDonald. The galaxy to the comet's lower left is UGC 7883, and the one to its lower left is MCG +0-33-3; NGC 4629 is in the lower right, and there you also start to see glow from Gamma Virginis.

A couple of hours earlier I observed the comet visually: May 18.17 UT, m1 = 13.9, 0.5' coma (41 cm reflector, 229x)
