Deep Sky Section Annual Meeting, Rugby

This year the Deep Sky Section annual meeting is hosted by Rugby and District Astronomical Society (RADAS) and will be held at their regular meeting venue – Church Lawford Village Hall, Church Lawford, Rugby, Warwickshire CV23 9EE.
The event takes place on 27th February, and doors will open at 9:30 with the meeting kicking off at 10:00. The day is expected to close by 17:30.
Entrance will be £5 for BAA members and members of RADAS, and £10 for non-members – pay at the door. This includes refreshments through the day, and a buffet lunch.
Please register if you do plan to attend, by emailing the section director, Callum Potter, deepsky@britastro.org and also express any dietary requirements (and we will try to cater appropriately).
The keynote “professional” speaker is Dr. Amelie Saintonge from UCL, who will give a talk entitled “Feeding, fireworks and feedback: the formation and evolution of galaxies”
