The BAA has been supporting amateur astronomers since 1890, and has an international reputation for the quality of its observational and scientific work. Its objectives include the encouragement of all aspects of observational astronomy and the promotion of a general interest in astronomy for beginners as well as for the more advanced. This year’s Exhibition, which was open to everyone, free of charge, took place on
