Hyades Occultation
Observing location
Canon 30D DSLR 85mm f3.5 lens
ISO 1000 1/2000th sec for Moon 1 sec for stars

The Moon occulting the Hyades star cluster does occur relatively frequently (19 years or so!) but as the sky was clear I thought I would attempt to capture it knowing that it would have to be a composite shot.
