Conjunction with Mars and Jupiter
203mm Newtonian Reflector

It's been a little while since I've posted any planetary observations as all of the planets have either been hugging the southern horizon or have been hiding behind the sun!  Anyhow, we now have Mars and Jupiter in the morning sky, and this morning I got up early to catch the conjunction.  Here's a drawing I made using low power on my 203mm Newtonian reflector.  The colour between the two planets was very striking!
