A view of the southern sky looking for the sky from Orion downward taken on the Indian coast at approximately 10 deg north. The two brightest stars in the sky are easily visible, Sirius upper central and Canopus in the lower part of the picture, What a shame the wonderful southern skies are not visible from the UK.
