The nova was discovered on 2009 November 25th is 6.9 degress SW of Rigel and lies at right ascension 4h 47.9m, declination 10 11' (equinox 2000.0). Here's pic of Nova Edi from early this morning (2009 December 1) via my piggybacked Meade ETX-70 and superimposed its spectrum via my 0.3m SCT+ Rainbow Optics grating before the camera.  Hope you're observing this interesting and rare object for its location.
