A quick attempt at imaging part of this beautiful arc of galaxies in the Virgo cluster. M86 (a bright elliptical galaxy) appears near the centre of the image with M84 (another elliptical galaxy) in the lower right of the frame. Other prominent structures include two interacting galaxies (top left in the image) known as 'The Eyes' because of their apparent form when viewed with an eyepiece and two edge-on galaxies seen either side of M86: NGC4402 (above M86 and to the right) and NGC4388 (near the centre of the lower edge of the field of view).
