Observers at the Highland Hotel observatory, Stirling
After our historical section meeting, several attendees gathered at Stirling Astronomical Society's observatory, on the top of the Highland Hotel, Spittal St, Stirling. We were able to observe the Moon through the soicety's historic f/9 12.5 inch diameter Newtonian reflector, built by William Peck in 1859.Thanks to Bert Mackenzie for opening up the observatory for us.
