A twilight view of Jupiter and Venus at the end of their apparitions. Jupiter is visible near the upper edge of the image some distance above the roof spire and Venus very low in the bottom right part of the picture.They are easier to see if the image is expanded.

 Even though Venus at greatest brilliancy and at a reasonable elongation the low altitude of the ecliptic and Venus's position well south of the ecliptic makes it a very difficult naked eye object from northern temperate latitudes.
