Observing location

Celestron 9.25
Watec 910HX/RC camera

Recorded onto laptop

A fortunate gap of clear sky enabled me to monitor this occultation, my second positive result for this year. The mag 12 star was only 28 degrees alt to the south with medium transparency, however the camera done a good job for me to achieve a good signal to noise ratio for the resulting light curve. An additional bonus was being able to see the asteroid on the laptop monitor slowly approach the target star until they merged. A few minutes later the target star `disappeared` for almost six seconds.
