Myself and another Crayford member set up over an hour before the Moon rose at a local high spot near Wilmington in Kent. We attracted attention from a number of passers-by who were intrigued as to what we were doing and to such an extent that we nearly missed the main event.

Due to the warm day the seeing was very poor. Lots of haze on the horizon meant we didn't spot the Moon until it was completely risen. Despite that it was as enjoyable as ever to see the Full Moon rise.
