A view looking south towards Jupiter, Saturn and the southern Milky Way, taken in SW France. Even though local streetlights are out after local midnight there is still a good deal of sky-glow in this direction from neighbouring towns, which on the original image was an ugly orange colour, so I have reduced colour intensity.
