Composite of a nice low resolution Perseid spectrum from my system in 2013 with the high resolution section caught this year (2019).
2013 nicely shows the entire span wavelengths picked up by the camera. Contrast that with the improvement in resolution of the short section in the near UV and blue/green part of the visible spectrum.
It is remarkable to think that all this information is buried in the light if we can just access it!
