Mars clears the local shrubbery
Observing location
Urban Berkshire
ZWO ASI 174MM mono CMOS camera
2.5x PowerMate
14inch f/10 LX200 ACF
EQ8 mount

Seeing hadn't been that good for Jupiter and Saturn but I stayed up until nearly dawn to see both a nice noctilucent display and also capture Mars as it cleared my garden shrubbery.     It was quite low down so not able to capture the clear details of our Australian colleagues with a well placed Mars at the moment but a nice first sight of a still quite large polar cap at the South Pole.
