Polaris's finger ring looks as though it as been through hard times.  The stars forming the ring are mostly more remote than Polaris.  But three  of the stars  HD14369, HD5914, and HD14718 are closer too us than Polaris, they are main sequence stars of spectral types  F  A3V and G respectively
