Until this rather grainy and inevitably over-exposed image of Mars, I had never managed to catch Phobos and Deimos in an image of the planet, although I have been imaging planets for 20 years now.  

On the night of 12-13th September I realised that they were both favourably placed in the early hours and after a fair bit of experimetation finally found settings which appeared to pick them out in the right locations.
