Martin reports this is his first attempt at imaging Neptune using a ASI224MC camera and Baader 610nm LP filter. Sky conditions were reduced transparency but reasonable seeing. 6 mins total exposure and the planet was colourised for aesthetic reasons.

Neptune seems to show some spot detail in the S polar region which is present on all 3 of Martin's captures from the session and matches that on an image by Nick Haig who was imaging at the same time. He was not able to do a rotation animation to confirm the presence of the details, as the session was too brief but the spots were subsequently confirmed in an animation by John Sussenbach, who imaged an  hour earlier and combined his image with Martin's and Nick Haig’s.
